Full Description
“Ascende Superius” brings with much love and joy their product: "Niagara Dam". The product's base is made out of wood - used to store all electronics far from the water. First we made a sketch in Autodesk Inventor and turned it into a 3D project in order to visualize our idea and have the correct measurements. After seeing that everything is going according to plan, we bought wooden planks and cut them according to our sketch. After spending a lot of time in research on how to assemble everything and how to work with wood, we finally arranged the pieces together and had a third of the project ready. The next step was to design the upper water holder with a spout and to find a big tank that would be used as the main water storage. We decided to use Autodesk Inventor in order to create a 3D model for the upper parts that shall be printed later on.
Having the design explained, we shall now get to the electronics. A water pump is rising the water to the upper tank, from where it falls back down. If the water level rises, our sensor would send a signal to the main Arduino board to play the alarm and stop the pump from working.
