This fall, it rained quite a bit and became cold quickly. Even our Bulgarian colleagues are saying that it is typically warmer than this fall. However, it might have helped the leaf color to be more vibrant.

The first photo is the view out of my office window with Vitosha Mountain in the back. The orange seeds in the fifth photo are pretty but poisonous. This Sun is Halloween, and there are some decorations in town, but not too crazy. In the second to last photo, the dawn near the airport when we happened to be there was stunning. In the last photo, there was already quite a bit of morning frost on the bushes. Perhaps there can be another week or two when the leaves are still here, and we’d enjoy those while they last.
