Full Description
Cerebro Industries gladly introduces our latest product, the Cy-Bro. The Cy-Bro is a nifty Head-up display headset that takes away the worry of wondering if the person near you is social distancing. With the Cy-Bro, you can now see the exact distance someone is away from up to 12.5 feet away. This is done using an ultrasonic distance sensor that receives and sends data to an Arduino board attached to the Cy-Bro. Not only does it detect distance, it also keeps goggles and glasses from fogging up to due mask breath.
How does it work, you may ask? Well, an Arduino Pro Mini is attached to the side of the headset and is connected to an ultrasonic distance sensor that sends a sound wave from a small speaker. The sound then bounces off of a surface and is received by the echo receiver on the sensor which calculates the distance by using how long it took for the sound to return. This data is then sent to an LCD screen that is programmed to show the distance in feet up to 12.5 feet away. If the target is more than 6 feet away from the sensor, the screen displays the distance in blue, but if they're within 6 feet, the distance displays red. To keep glasses and other eyewear from fogging, two, simple plastic are attached to the bridge of the headset that keeps air from flowing out of the top of a mask. The straps on the Cy-Bro make sure there is a nice fit and that the Cy-Bro won't fall off your face. The screen can rotate on an arm to allow for easy storage.

This is a neat idea as it allows people to seat exactly how far away they are from someone else, while also preventing foggy glasses. I could also see someone cosplaying as a borg with this.
